We decided to decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. Normally, we’d have a lot more around the house, but with the little man on the loose, we can’t put certain things within his reach. The first thing we did was put up the tree. Kelly wisely bought unbreakable ornaments and Chase immediately took to testing them out. As soon as I had hung a ball on the tree, Chase decided to pull it off and give it a toss. Sure enough, it didn’t break. After we finished decorating the tree, we noticed that there was a bare spot on the tree that consisted of the entire lower half where Chase could reach. Our tree looks pathetic, but I think we’ve come to terms with the fact that our tree will be a little less amazing until there are no more babies in the house.
